Vodcasting techniques

• try and get a microphone, don't rely on Mac mic
• separately record voice
• if the audio of the footage is too quiet, copy+paste -> stack clip
• assemble + review footage -> take notes
• multiple ways to import footage into final cut (drag+drop is easiest)
• use favourite tool
• does not have to be overly formal (puns are acceptable)
• relevant visual material always on screen
• add titles to reiterate, highlight and simplify what you are saying at greater length
• Use chapter style if the Vodcast is long
• when using many shots on screen/titles, make notes on size+positioning (x+y coordinates)
• give clear credits
• play around with editing titles
