ASSESSMENT CRITERIA: What I'm marked on!

All 3 are marked across blog, product andevaluation (‘creative critical reflection’)

AO2 20%
Knowledge and understanding of how meanings are created in media products
·      Media language, representation; constructing a preferred reading; awareness of multiple audiences
·      Institutional context: reflecting indie or subsidiary/studio
·      Must be applied

AO4 20%
Undertake and apply appropriate research
·      Must include relevant, specific examples
·      The product must reflect this research
·      Evaluation must reflect this research
·      Research to include:
o  Other films openings
o  Film locations
o  Audience
o  Institution (eg titling)

AO3 60%
Evidence of planning
Detail of decision/revisions: the journey
Product as outcome of this process; a film opening
Meaning clear to audience (BUT, narrowly. enigma is fine)
(Sense of branding – social media)
Use of elements relating to film production:
            -Use of conventions and genre
            - GENREIC/CHALLEGNING?
            - Storyboards/animatic
            - Scripts (use of formal layout)
            - Shot lists
            - Location recces (visiting, looking, test footage)
            - Mise-en-scene (props, costume etc; set dressing, BTS footage + time lapse)
            - Organisation and direction of actors (BTS footage)
            - Use of sound
            - Use of titling
